A bunch of books about books

Haha—actually that’s exactly what I was looking for. A friend saw my Delicious bookmarks, all about Snead shelving and such, and said, “You need to read this book!”
Also, about the Glut book: a couple years ago I went to a presentation by the author and enjoyed it, since that kind of thing is exactly what I love learning about. Then I read the book and wrote pages and pages of critical notes for a negative review — I was expecting a lot, but the book turned out to be sloppy in several ways. I decided not to finish writing the review or post it on my blog, because it would have just been mean (and probably would have had its own intellectual errors, since I’m not exactly a super-expert). You might like it, of course, but that’s what I got out of it. :)

I found Petroski a bit disappointing. It’s about the shelves as much if not more than the books, which is kind of cool, but…
